Colorado men’s basketball earned the verbal commitment of three-star guard Jalin Holland on Friday, making him the third member of head coach Tad Boyle’s 2025 freshmen recruiting class.
Holland, out of New Mexico, picked Colorado over Oklahoma and New Mexico.
Standing 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, Holland is rated a three-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite rankings, though 247Sports and a few other databases individually rate Holland a four-star. The Composite ranks him the No. 12 player in Arizona and the No. 29 shooting guard in the nation.
Holland officially visited Boulder on Sept. 20 (per BuffStampede), alongside fellow guard commit Isaiah Johnson. Center A’mare Bynum and forward Kelvin Odih were also on the visit. Three-star commit Ian Inman visited just over a week earlier.
Holland will be playing out his senior year at Dream City Christian Academy in Glendale, Arizona, transferring from Los Lunas High School (N.M.) where he scored over 2,000 career points.
